We are very excited about the new church year, and we have several exciting events planned.  Please mark your calendars; more details will be announced soon.

 

Laymen’s League meeting: September 8, Thursday evening at 6:30pm. Join us for a Zoom session with the Laymen's League.  We will be joined by historian Dan O'Neill, who will reflect with us on our memories of the tragic events of 9/11 that happened twenty-one years ago. 

 

Opening Sunday: September 11, services at 10:00am and 11:15am.  Our first Coffee Hour in Reidy Hall since the pandemic started.  We will have a Historical Society table, and look forward to greeting you.

 

Welcome Back Party: September 20, Tuesday evening, 6:00pm–8:00pm in Reidy Friendship Hall, co-sponsored with the Women’s Alliance.

 

Annual Meeting of the Historical Society: October 16, Sunday at 2:00pm on Zoom.  Members and non-members are encouraged to participate.   New officers will be elected.  Only members will be able to vote. 

 

The Annual Bellows Lecture: November 13, Sunday at 2:00pm on Zoom, “Transcendentalism, Unitarianism and Thoreau's ‘Theology of Wildness’” by Professor Lydia Ciollo.

 

203rd Anniversary Weekend: November 18-20. Dinners-in-homes on Friday evening; Anniversary Sunday, November 20.
